Launchpad
Our enterprise and entrepreneurship programme aims to equip students and graduates with the skills to develop an entrepreneurs' mind-set, either to enable them to set up their own business or simply to use those entrepreneurial skills as they embark on their career path. This includes a Dragon's Den style competition, specialist 1:1 support and access to the Young Chamber of Commerce. Launchpad offers specially designed workshops on funding opportunities, marketing and business planning. Students and alumni can access events, appointments and gain support with writing applications and business plans.

LaunchPad Competition – Win a cash prize for your business idea
Roehampton's own Dragon's Den! Each year students and graduates can enter their ew business idea for cash prize to help them explore or start their own business. The competition launches in November with a final pitching event in February.
The competition is open to current, full degree, undergraduate and postgraduate students and alumni of the University of Roehampton across all departments and colleges.
LaunchPad Start-Up Grant - Fund your business
Looking to fund your business? Here at Roehampton we have our LaunchPad Start-Up Grant, to help your business grow.
The grant money would typically go towards developing your business, such as:
- Market Research
- Competitor Analysis
- Licensing Software
- Development opportunities, such as internships, placements, research projects, and volunteering.
The grant is open to current, full degree, undergraduate and postgraduate students and alumni of the University of Roehampton across all departments and colleges.
There are two Start-up rounds in February and May each year.
