Professor Peter Jaeger from Roehampton's School of Humanities has co-organised a free online showcase event for two indigenous Canadian writers on Thursday 3 June at 6.30pm. All staff and students are welcome to attend.

Poet Liz Howard, who is of Anishanaabe heritage and writer/artist Matthew Weigel, who is of Dënësųłinë/Métis heritage will read passages from their work, followed by a discussion moderated by Prof Jaeger. Roehampton is partnering The Banff Centre of Arts and Creativity to stage the event, which is part of the Origins Writers festival, an annual celebration of First Nation literature.
