Horowitz offered the class practical and commercial advice, to help provide them with insights into how they can build successful careers in the field of creative writing.

Following the masterclass, Horowitz was joined by the two Anthony Horowitz scholars, Zyra Brassington and Maymun Iman for a lunch. The Anthony Horowitz Scholarship is a £2000 cash scholarship, provided through a donation from the British novelist and screenwriter, designed to support high-achieving students during their studies. In return, the students are required to demonstrate their commitment to enriching the life of the Department.

Dr Mary Shannon says “To be able to meet and learn directly from internationally recognised authors such as Anthony Horowitz really enriches the experience our students have at Roehampton.”
