All staff and students of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SoHSS) are invited to a special James Bond extravaganza to celebrate the recent launch of No Time to Die, on Wednesday, 3 November 2021.

The event kicks off at 4.30pm in The Portrait Room, Grove House, with a Q&A session with Steve Cole, author of the Young Bond series of books. Food and drink are served at 5.30pm - free of charge - then from 6pm there are three more short, spy-themed presentations: Roehampton's Dr Ian Kinane  will talk about Brexit, Bond and British Meme Culture, followed by Mark Dunton's presentation about cold war espionage. Finally, Roehampton doctoral student Kiera Fitzgerald will share some of her research about spycraft and the literary history of British espionage, after which more drinks will be served as the after-party begins.

Tickets are free to students and staff from the SoHSS, and are available through this Eventbrite link. The dress code is 'dress for espionage!'
