Our programmes

Clinical Simulation Centre

Students will spend practice learning time in the brand new Clinical Simulation Centre (CSC). This purpose-built facility will have simulated community areas, such as practice nurse rooms and home environments and also a fully functioning simulated ward. Students will learn a range of skills including clinical nursing procedures, communication, teamwork, leadership, coordination, supervision, assessment and feedback.

Learning will be facilitated by other students, service users and carers, role players and clinical and academic staff. The facilities will employ a range of specific teaching equipment, such as anatomical models, resuscitation manikins and also high-fidelity manikins. The CSC will include filming capability with options for recording, playback, review, debrief, live-streaming and assessment.

Placements and Partnerships

As a nursing student, you'll be spending half of your time gaining direct experience in nursing through placements in the community and in hospitals. We are currently building partnerships with numerous healthcare providers throughout south London and beyond to offer a wide range of placements. The other half of your time will be spent on our campus, learning in our brand new facilities. Your time on campus will be divided between simulated practice in our Clinical Simulation Centre, and classroom theory delivered by experienced practitioners and experts in the field.
